Tooldossier publishes software prices read from each vendor's own pricing page, with the date they were checked. These terms explain what that information is, and what it is not.
Prices are information, not an offer
Every price on Tooldossier was read from the vendor's own pricing page and is shown with the date it was checked and a link to that page. Vendors change prices, plans and limits without notice, so a figure can be out of date by the time it is read.
Tooldossier does not sell any of the products it covers and cannot guarantee a price. Before buying, check the vendor's own page. The vendor's checkout is what decides what is actually charged.
No warranty
The site is provided as it is. Tooldossier takes care to keep figures accurate and dated, but makes no promise that every figure is complete, current or free of errors, and is not liable for decisions made using it. Worked examples, such as a yearly cost for a team or a cost per envelope, are calculations from the published prices and assume the conditions stated next to them.
Product names and trademarks
Product names, logos and brands mentioned on Tooldossier belong to their owners. Naming a product does not mean the owner endorses or is affiliated with Tooldossier, unless a page says so. If a vendor wants a file corrected, every file has a correction form and a "Claim this listing" link.
Mistakes and corrections
If a price, limit or plan on this site is wrong, use the correction form on that file or write to [email protected]. Corrections are checked against the vendor's own page and, once confirmed, the file shows what changed and when. The full process is in the editorial policy.
Using the content
The text, tables and calculations on Tooldossier may be quoted and linked to with credit and a link to the page they came from. Copying whole pages or republishing the database is not allowed without permission.
Links to other sites
Files link to vendors' own pages so every figure can be checked. Tooldossier is not responsible for the content or practices of those sites. Some files may contain affiliate links; where they do, the editorial policy explains how that works and it never changes a published price.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. The date below shows the latest version.
