HubSpot vs Zoho CRM: what each costs
HubSpot and Zoho CRM are customer relationship management tools that both price per person and both have a free plan. The difference in how they bill: HubSpot's entry price is a new-customer offer labeled as a starting price, with a large step up to its next tier, while Zoho CRM lists fixed per-user rates across three paid editions.
The short answer. HubSpot vs Zoho CRM pricing: both are free for small teams, HubSpot for up to 2 users and Zoho CRM for 3. HubSpot Starter is listed from $7 per seat per month paid annually, a new-customer offer, against $14 per user for Zoho CRM Standard. Above that, Zoho CRM is lower: $23 or $40 against $45 for HubSpot Professional. Files checked on 10 and 6 Oct 2026.

Which one is for you
Pick HubSpot if the team qualifies for the new-customer Starter offer and the Starter features are enough: it is listed from $7 per seat per month paid annually, below Zoho CRM Standard at $14.
Pick Zoho CRM if the team has 3 people and can use the Free edition, or needs a tier above entry level: Professional at $23 and Enterprise at $40 per user per month billed annually are both below HubSpot Professional at $45.
What HubSpot's pricing page does not say
- The Starter prices of $7 and $10 per seat per month are an offer. The page banner says new customers only and select offers available for a limited time, and a struck-through $20/mo/seat sits beside both figures. The page does not say what an existing customer pays.
- Pay Monthly does not mean the same thing on each plan. On Starter it is labeled Commit monthly. On Smart CRM Professional it is labeled Commit annually, so the $50 per seat is paid monthly inside an annual commitment.
- Starter, Professional and Enterprise prices are labeled Starts at. Neither page says what raises the price above that figure.
- The step from Starter to Professional is large: $7 per seat per month against $45 per seat per month, both paid annually. Teams, custom reporting and duplicate management are listed from Professional.
- Smart CRM Enterprise has no Buy now button, only Talk to Sales, and its card has no billing period control.
- The Free plan stops at 2 users. A third user means a paid plan, and paid plans are charged per seat.
- Starter includes 1,000 marketing contacts and 500 HubSpot Credits. The price of more contacts or more credits is not on either page.
What Zoho CRM's pricing page does not say
- Paying monthly costs 43% more on Standard ($20 against $14), 52% more on Professional ($35 against $23) and 25% more on Enterprise ($50 against $40). The page opens on the Annually prices.
- The Free edition stops at 3 users. A fourth user means a paid edition, and paid editions are charged per user.
- Email integration and mass emails, calendar integration and Gmail and Outlook integration first appear in the Standard list, so a team that wants email inside the CRM starts at $14 per user per month billed annually.
- AI agents, process management, inventory management and CPQ first appear under Professional. Approval process and the developer sandbox first appear under Enterprise.
- The page says local taxes may apply, so the listed rates are before tax.
- Bigin Express and Zoho CRM Plus are shown on the same page with their own prices. They are separate Zoho products, not editions of Zoho CRM.
HubSpot or Zoho CRM for one to three people
Both tools cost $0 at this size, with different limits. HubSpot's free tools cover up to 2 users. Zoho CRM's Free edition covers 3 users. A third person is free on Zoho CRM and means a paid plan on HubSpot. Neither free plan asks for a credit card.
What a team of 5 or 20 pays
Both price per person, so the monthly bill is the head count times the rate. HubSpot's rates are labeled Starts at, and its Starter rate is an offer for new customers.
| Plan and billing | Per person a month | Team of 5 | Team of 20 |
|---|---|---|---|
| HubSpot Starter, paid annually (offer) | $7 | 5 x $7 | 20 x $7 |
| HubSpot Starter, paid monthly (offer) | $10 | 5 x $10 | 20 x $10 |
| Zoho CRM Standard, annual | $14 | 5 x $14 | 20 x $14 |
| Zoho CRM Standard, monthly | $20 | 5 x $20 | 20 x $20 |
| Zoho CRM Professional, annual | $23 | 5 x $23 | 20 x $23 |
| Zoho CRM Enterprise, annual | $40 | 5 x $40 | 20 x $40 |
| HubSpot Smart CRM Professional, paid annually | $45 | 5 x $45 | 20 x $45 |
| HubSpot Smart CRM Enterprise | $75 | 5 x $75 | 20 x $75 |
Is HubSpot cheaper than Zoho CRM? Only at the entry tier, and only on the offer. Starter at $7 per seat is half of Zoho CRM Standard at $14. One tier up the order reverses: HubSpot Professional at $45 is above every Zoho CRM edition, including Enterprise at $40.
Billing differences
- Offer pricing. HubSpot's Starter figures are for new customers for a limited time. HubSpot's file does not record what an existing customer pays. Zoho CRM's rates carry no such label.
- Monthly billing. Zoho CRM Professional is $35 and Enterprise is $50 per user billed monthly. HubSpot Professional paid monthly is $50 per seat inside an annual commitment.
- Top tier. HubSpot Smart CRM Enterprise is sold through sales from $75 per seat. Zoho CRM Enterprise has a published rate.
- Taxes. Zoho's page says local taxes may apply.
