What the free tier actually allows

What the pricing page does not say

The free plan is the unusual part

Most tools in this category offer a trial and call it free. PandaDoc publishes a plan at $0 that does not expire, includes e-signature, and caps use at five documents a month.

Five documents is a real limit, not a technicality. It suits someone sending the occasional contract and stops working the moment signing becomes routine. But it is a free plan, and the distinction matters when comparing against a tool whose free option is thirty days long.

Per seat is the figure that moves

Every price on the page is per seat. That is stated, and it is also the detail most often dropped when these numbers are repeated elsewhere.

Team size Business, billed annually
1 person $49 a month
3 people $147 a month
5 people $245 a month

The tier does not change. The bill does.

Both billing rates, because one without the other is misleading

The page defaults to showing annual rates with a Monthly toggle beside them. Switching it reveals $35 and $65 for the same two plans, an 84% increase on Starter for the privilege of paying month to month.

The page advertises a saving of up to 46% for annual billing. That figure is accurate: $35 down to $19 is a 46% reduction.

Questions

Is PandaDoc really free?
Yes, with a cap. The free plan allows 5 documents a month, includes e-signature, and does not expire. It is a free plan rather than a trial.
How much is PandaDoc per month?
$19 per seat for Starter or $49 for Business on annual billing. Paying month to month is $35 and $65 respectively.
Why is PandaDoc cheaper on some comparison pages?
Because they quote the annual billing rate without saying so. $19 is the annual price; the month to month price for the same plan is $35.
What does PandaDoc cost for a team?
Multiply by seats. Five people on Business billed annually is $245 a month. The per seat model is the figure most comparison pages leave out.
What does Enterprise cost?
Not published. The page offers a quote and mentions per seat or per document pricing, so the model itself varies.

What this check confirmed

Both billing states were captured by switching the Monthly and Annually toggle, so the monthly and annual figures here are each read rather than calculated. The stated saving of up to 46% checks out against $35 falling to $19. Enterprise is shown as a quote only, so no figure is published for it.

Figures on this file were read off the vendor's own pricing page on the dates shown. Prices change without notice; check before buying.
