ClickUp is a work management tool covering tasks, docs, chat and dashboards. It has a free plan and paid plans priced per user, with a lower rate for yearly billing and AI sold in a separate price block.
The short answer. ClickUp pricing starts with a Free Forever plan. Unlimited is $7 per user per month billed yearly ($10 billed monthly) and Business is $12 per user per month billed yearly ($19 billed monthly). Enterprise has no published price. What the free tier actually allows
- The Free Forever plan has no charge and allows unlimited Free Plan members and unlimited tasks.
- Storage is capped at 60MB.
- It includes 1 form, collaborative docs, Kanban boards, sprint management, calendar view, in-app video recording and 24/7 support.
- Unlimited storage, Gantt charts, custom fields, integrations and native time tracking start on the Unlimited plan.
What the pricing page does not say
- Monthly billing carries a large premium: Unlimited is $10 instead of $7 per user per month (43% more) and Business is $19 instead of $12 (58% more).
- AI is priced in a separate block from the plans. Brain AI is $9 per user per month and Everything AI is $28 per user per month, as shown with that block's switch on Yearly.
- Extra AI usage is metered: AI Super Credits cost $10 per 10,000 credits, and the page says usage varies by complexity.
- The free plan's storage limit is 60MB in total. Unlimited storage needs a paid plan.
- Google SSO starts on Business. SAML SSO and SCIM provisioning are on Enterprise, which has no published price.
- Automations are capped by plan: 5K per month on Business and 250K per month on Enterprise.

Which plan fits which team
Free Forever covers unlimited members and tasks within 60MB of storage and 1 form. Unlimited removes the storage cap and is the first plan with Gantt charts, custom fields, integrations, native time tracking and guests with permission control. Business is the first plan with unlimited dashboards and timeline views, 5K automations per month, Google SSO and custom exporting. Enterprise adds SAML SSO, SCIM provisioning, an audit log and 250K automations per month, with pricing through sales.
Billing details
The plan table has a Monthly and Yearly switch and states a saving of up to 30% with yearly. On the published rates, yearly billing is 30% below monthly on Unlimited ($10 to $7) and 37% below monthly on Business ($19 to $12).
AI sits in its own price block with its own switch, which states a saving of up to 20% with yearly. With that switch on Yearly, Brain AI is $9 and Everything AI is $28 per user per month. The monthly AI rates were not read. Additional AI Super Credits cost $10 per 10,000 credits.

The AI block has its own switch, which stayed on Yearly: Brain AI at $9 and Everything AI at $28 per user per month were read in that state only. Not confirmed: the monthly rates for the AI plans; Enterprise pricing is quote only (Contact sales); the terms of the 100% money-back guarantee, the complete feature list and most of the page's FAQ answers were collapsed and not read.
