What the free tier actually allows

What the pricing page does not say

What a team pays for Trello

Trello cost for 1, 5 and 20 users, worked from the published per user rates. Each figure is users x rate x 12 months.

Team Plan Billed annually Billed monthly
1 user Standard 1 x $5 x 12 = $60 a year 1 x $6 x 12 = $72 a year
1 user Premium 1 x $10 x 12 = $120 a year 1 x $12.50 x 12 = $150 a year
5 users Standard 5 x $5 x 12 = $300 a year 5 x $6 x 12 = $360 a year
5 users Premium 5 x $10 x 12 = $600 a year 5 x $12.50 x 12 = $750 a year
20 users Standard 20 x $5 x 12 = $1,200 a year 20 x $6 x 12 = $1,440 a year
20 users Premium 20 x $10 x 12 = $2,400 a year 20 x $12.50 x 12 = $3,000 a year

Per month, that is $25 (annual rate) or $30 (monthly rate) for 5 users on Standard, and $200 or $250 for 20 users on Premium. A team of up to 10 that fits inside 10 boards pays nothing on the Free plan.

Enterprise is not in the table. The page shows $17.50 per user per month, billed annually, beside an estimator set to 50 users. At that setting the arithmetic is 50 x $210.00 = $10,500 a year. The rate at other user counts was not read, so it is not worked here.

Which plan fits which team

Free covers a Workspace of up to 10 collaborators and 10 boards. Standard is the first plan with unlimited boards, Custom Fields, advanced checklists and the AI features, and it raises automation from 250 to 1,000 Workspace command runs per month. Premium is the first plan with the Calendar, Timeline, Table, Dashboard and Map views, plus admin and security features and unlimited command runs. Enterprise adds unlimited Workspaces and organization-wide permissions.

Billing details

Trello prints both rates for Standard and Premium on the same page, with no toggle. Annual billing is 17% below the monthly rate on Standard ($6 to $5) and 20% below it on Premium ($12.50 to $10). Enterprise is listed with annual billing only.

Two costs sit outside the plan price. Atlassian Guard, needed for SAML single sign-on below Enterprise, is a separate subscription starting at $4 per user per month. Power-Ups made by partners can carry their own subscription fee.

What this check confirmed

Read off https://trello.com/pricing on 3 Oct 2026 from a US connection. The page prints the annual and monthly rates together, so no toggle was needed. Confirmed: the Free plan limits, Standard at $5 annual and $6 monthly, Premium at $10 annual and $12.50 monthly, Enterprise at $17.50 per user per month billed annually ($210.00 a year per user) with the page's cost estimator at its default of 50 users, and Atlassian Guard starting at $4 per user per month. Not confirmed: the Enterprise rate at other user counts (the estimator was not moved); the answers in the page's own FAQ (trial length, discounts, cancellation, how users are counted) were collapsed and not read.
