What the free tier actually allows

What the pricing page does not say

What a team pays for monday.com

monday.com cost depends on the plan, the team size picked in the selector and the billing period. The figures below are the monthly totals the pricing page itself showed on 5 Oct 2026, before tax, with the yearly cost worked from them.

Team size Plan Billed annually Billed monthly
3 seats Basic $27 a month, x 12 = $324 a year $36 a month
3 seats Standard $36 a month, x 12 = $432 a year $42 a month
3 seats Pro $57 a month, x 12 = $684 a year $72 a month
5 seats Basic $45 a month, x 12 = $540 a year $60 a month
5 seats Standard $60 a month, x 12 = $720 a year $70 a month
5 seats Pro $95 a month, x 12 = $1,140 a year $120 a month
20 seats Basic $190 a month, x 12 = $2,280 a year $252.50 a month
20 seats Standard $260 a month, x 12 = $3,120 a year $305 a month
20 seats Pro $410 a month, x 12 = $4,920 a year $517.50 a month

One person, or two, can stay on the Free plan at $0. A solo user who needs a paid plan buys the smallest size on sale, which is 3 seats.

The 20 seat row does not equal 20 times the per seat rate shown on the same screen. Basic at $9 would be 20 x $9 = $180 a month, and the page shows $190. The page gives no reason, so the purchase page is the place to confirm the total before paying.
