What the free tier actually allows
- The Free plan costs 0 and is limited to 1 sender.
- It includes 1 template and 3 documents a month.
- API access, the audit trail and advanced security are listed on it; template links, bulk send and compliance certifications are not.
- The FAQ says a new account starts on the free plan and is not billed unless it upgrades.
What the pricing page does not say
- Pricing is per sender. Light includes 1 sender and Business 3; each additional sender is $10/mo (Light) or $12/mo (Business) on yearly billing, and $12/mo or $15/mo on monthly billing.
- Paying monthly costs 20% more: Light is $12 against $10, and Business $36 against $30.
- Custom branding, conditional field rules, data validation, request attachments and in-person signing are not on Light; they start on Business.
- API documents are 25 free a month on every plan, then pay per doc. The per-document rate is not printed on the pricing page.
- Enterprise, for teams of 50 or more, has no published price.

Which plan fits which team
- Free: one sender with up to 3 documents a month.
- Light: one or a few senders who need unlimited documents, template links and bulk send.
- Business: teams that need custom branding, conditional fields, data validation or in-person signing.
- Enterprise: 50 or more senders or high document volume, priced by quote.
Billing details
The page loads on Yearly billing and states a 20% yearly discount. There are no long-term contracts and no cancelation fees. Paid plans include unlimited documents, and price does not depend on how many people sign. SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA and audit trails are listed on every paid plan.
