Software prices, week of 2 Nov: SignNow's $8 plan covers unlimited users, while Teamwork.com bills at least 3 seats at $9.99
Eight pricing pages were read again on 2 Nov 2026. SignNow's $8 Basic plan counts signature invites, not people, while Teamwork.com Basics starts at 3 x $9.99 = $29.97 a month and three payroll vendors publish no price at all.
Eight price files were re-read against the vendor's own pricing page on 2 Nov 2026, across six drawers, and none of them has been covered in an earlier note. The table shows the entry paid plan of each, as printed on the page on the date shown.

Four of the eight have a free plan: WeTransfer, Teamwork.com, Zoho Books and Square Appointments.
Seat minimums: WeTransfer and Teamwork.com
WeTransfer's Starter and Ultimate plans are for individual use only, so adding a colleague means Teams, which has a minimum of 2 users and stops at 50 members. More than 50 goes to Enterprise, which has no published price. The smallest Teams bill:
- Billed yearly: 2 x $19 x 12 = $456 a year.
- Billed monthly: 2 x $25 x 12 = $600 a year, 32% more (25 / 19 = 1.32).
Teamwork.com's comparison table lists a minimum of 3 users on Basics and 5 on Accelerate, both priced per user per month billed yearly:
- Basics, 3 users: 3 x $9.99 = $29.97 a month, or 3 x $9.99 x 12 = $359.64 a year.
- Accelerate, 5 users: 5 x $24.99 x 12 = $1,499.40 a year.
The Free plan allows at most 5 users and 5 projects. Optimize, the plan the page marks Recommended, and Enterprise have no published price and route to a demo. The page also says usage-based AI credits will launch in November 2026, with no credit price given.
SignNow: unlimited users, counted invites
SignNow's cards read "Free unlimited users", so the team size does not change the bill. The limit is 100 signature invites per year on each of Basic, Business and Advanced. Billed annually, the three plans come to:
- Basic: $8 x 12 = $96 a year.
- Business: $15 x 12 = $180 a year.
- Advanced: $30 x 12 = $360 a year.
Enterprise is priced at $1.50 per signature invite instead of a monthly fee. At 100 invites that is 100 x $1.50 = $150, before the volume discounts the page mentions but does not price. The Docusign vs SignNow page sets it beside the per-user model.
Zoho Books: priced per organization
Zoho Books charges per organization, billed annually, with a set number of users in each plan: 3 on Standard at $15, 5 on Professional at $40 and 10 on Premium at $60. Extra users are an add-on at $2.5 per user per month, billed annually. A team of 5 on Standard comes to $15 + 2 x $2.5 = $20 a month, against $40 for Professional with 5 users included. Professional also adds purchase orders, multi-currency and inventory tracking. The Free plan covers 1 user plus 1 accountant. See Zoho Books vs QuickBooks Online and Zoho Books vs Xero.
Square Appointments: per location, plus card fees
Each Square plan is priced per location per month: Square Free at $0, Square Plus at $49 and Square Premium at $149. Two locations on Plus cost 2 x $49 x 12 = $1,176 a year before card fees. Every plan, Free included, pays a processing fee on each card payment: 2.6% + 15¢ in person on Free, 2.5% + 15¢ on Plus and 2.4% + 15¢ on Premium. Online payments cost more: 3.3% + 30¢ on Free.
Payroll: three pages, no figures
Rippling, Paychex and ADP each name their plans and print no dollar amount for any of them; the route to a number is a quote form or a sales call. Rippling's FAQ calls the Rippling Platform core and required, so payroll alone also means paying for the platform. Paychex lists four plans (Basic, Foundations, Advanced and Complete), and ADP four packages. Side by side: ADP vs Paychex, Gusto vs ADP, Gusto vs Paychex and Gusto vs Rippling.
Drawers
The rest of each category is in its drawer: File and document sharing, Project management, Contracts and signing, Invoicing and billing, Scheduling and booking and Payroll.
